SUMMARY:Fish in a Birdcage
DESCRIPTION:Fish In A Birdcage | Calgary\, AB\n“Based out of Calgary Albe
rta\, Fish in a Birdcage is modern Renaissance\, Electronica to folk strin
gs.\n‘The idea behind fish in a birdcage is that the fish is an able bod
ied creature with the potential to “fly” just not in that environment.
I relate to that personally\, being an artist confined or caged into a pl
ace where I cannot “fly” or live up to my full potential because of th
e caging of my environment.’ says the songwriter.\nDusty is inspired and
progresses through playing as much as possible\, from basements and rooft
ops\, to the streets of Calgary\, AB. With a bow in his right hand and an
ebony fretboard clutched in his left\, Dusty has adventured far to bring h
is message of love to a wide audience. Hauling a guitar\, cello\, banjo\,
accordion\, washboard\, belt of harmonicas\, and a shoebourine almost ever
ywhere he goes hasn’t been easy\, yet has been crucial to developing his
  repertoire.”\nwith\nSHAYFER JAMES | New York\, NY\n“Shayfer James is
an American singer-songwriter\, pianist\, and composer known for hauntingl
y beautiful and bombastic music that blends elements of pop\, cabaret\, cl
assical\, soul and rock. Shayfer began playing piano and writing music at
a young age\, drawing inspiration from diverse musical influences such as
Sam Cooke\, Stephen Sondheim\, Elton John\, Nat King Cole and The Native T
ongues. His music has been described as cinematic\, evocative\, and deeply
personal\, often exploring themes of love\, loss\, and human nature.”\n
