SUMMARY:Lowest of the Low (SOLD OUT!)
DESCRIPTION:ON-SALE: Friday\, February 21st!\nLOWEST OF THE LOW\n“It’s
a strange thing to be one of the most lauded independent Canadian bands of
  all time\; it’s almost a back-handed compliment\, since it feels like t
he “independent” qualifier is somehow intended to lessen the achieveme
nt. Shouldn’t it be cause for greater celebration when you make your nam
e without the muscle and reach of a major label?\nThe story is stranger st
ill when you consider that some of Lowest of the Low’s success came in s
pite of themselves. Never at ease with the ‘big machine’ of the music
industry\, they may have indulged in more than one bout of self-sabotage a
long the way back in the Nineties. That simply means they can take a certa
in pride in knowing that the victories they did score (and the defeats the
y endured) were always of their own making\, which is far better than putt
ing your fate in someone else’s hands. That’s a true hallmark of indep
 endence.”\nwith special guests\nDANY LAJ &amp\; THE LOOKS | Montreal\, Q
C\n“Dany Laj and the Looks is a vibrant power pop band hailing from Mont
 real\, known for their infectious melodies\, high-energy performances\, an
d a distinctive sound that blends garage rock sensibilities with modern fl
air. Led by the charismatic Dany Laj\, whose songwriting prowess and disti
nctive vocals drive the band’s creative vision\, they’ve earned a repu
tation for their electrifying live shows and compelling studio recordings.
